Organic Sea Buckthorn oil, (botanical name Hippophae Rhamnoides) is a dry oil, which absorbs quickly into your skin. Sea buckthorn oil is bright orange in colour, which can stain the skin when directly applied. We recommend you mix this oil with another plant oil or cream to reduce the intensity of colour. A Non-comedogenic oil, with a score of 1 it is unlikely to clog pores. Suitable for all skin types but particularly good for maturer or drier skin.

Sea buckthorn oil has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, it will provide intense moisturisation to dry, damaged or maturing skin. It will help reduce redness, premature aging and inflammation. This oil may improve skin cell regeneration, elasticity and improve overall skin health.

Guidance on how to apply sea buckthorn Oil.
We recommend mixing sea buckthorn oil with another oil or moisturiser. This is due to its bright intense colour, and will stain if used neat. You could super-charge your moisturiser by simply adding a drop to your regular face cream. Why not create a bespoke serum? You could try blending a combination of your favourite oils for maximum benefits. When applying the oil massage gentle with circular upward and outward strokes. NB. When applying neat to skin, it will stain. Use less than 5% when mixing with other face creams or oils. Please ensure cap is replaced after use to prevent spillage and staining.
