The AnchorCert Analytical Research & Development team is led by globally renowned Nickel expert, Dippal Manchanda MSc CSci CChem FRSC. Dippal Manchanda has more than three decades of experience of the analysis of precious metals and alloys. He is Chief Assayer for Assay Office Birmingham and AnchorCert Group's Technical Director. Dippal is also responsible for driving commercially-focused research and development programs, which has resulted in the DermaKind™ test, Quick Nickel test and Multi-Territory Lead & Cadmium test - all unique tests to the AnchorCert Group, yet to be replicated by any other laboratory globally.
DIPPAL MANCHANDA: PROFILE
Dippal Manchanda, Technical Director & Chief Assayer of the Birmingham Assay Office and Anchorcert Group, is personally active in many metal allergy and metal testing research areas. He is a member and UK representative of CEN/TC 347/Task Group1 responsible for the revision of EN1811- Nickel release test standard and also member of BSI STI/053 committee on jewellery. He holds a Master degree (MSc) in inorganic chemistry and have over 34 years of experience in assaying and examination of precious/non-precious metals, alloys including hazardous substances in jewellery, consumer goods and accessories. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), a Chartered Chemist (CChem) and a Chartered Scientist (CSci). Since completing his master’s Degree, he has spent most of his career in the field of metal analysis and have been involved in several prestigious projects related to metal testing, Tarnishing, metal allergy, manufacturing and precious metal refining. Developing Derma-Kind test methodology to ascertain if the alloy material is safe for individuals with Skin Allergies was one of his recent projects.
During his career he has written, contributed to and have published a range of peer reviewed scientific papers as well as presented at numerous international conferences.
